I joined my husband Jacob in July 2020 and Caylee came after finishing her final year ofHigh school 2020.We are delighted with the prospects and excitement of arts and crafts here in Abu Dhabi. We have been blessed with the opportunity of giving a few classes and thoroughly enjoy the enthusiasm from young learning children to more experienced adults. Working with groups of people not only allows us to share what we have learned but we get so much back from the community as their talents and ideas flow in.

“I am an interior architect by profession, but I am also an artist by nature”
Since Childhood, I was passionate about visuals, forms and colors. I developed my talent at university Her practice includes printmaking, digital illustration and mixed media on paper works. In her work, she delves into her own memories and digs into past experiences with people she’s crossed paths with, she touches on emotional memories and emotional intelligence. These people when translated to paper lose many of their physical characteristics and become gender neutral characters that carry only the weight of the memory the artist has with them. Her characters are smiling, laughing, crying, loosely attached to each other and sometimes merging into one physical form.

Sarah Mooney is an Artist and art teacher from Ireland currently living in Abu Dhabi. She trained in NCAD Ireland. BA Fine art Education.
She is best known for her dreamy expressive Oil Paintings.

Her work is held in numerous private, public and corporate collections nationally and internationally. Her paintings have been in various exhibitions solo and group shows, as featured on Abu Dhabi TV.

Artist statement:
My work explores narratives of lone figures in landscapes with a veiled mystical quality. These oil paintings are created in an expressive realism style primarily concerned with the emotional connection between people and the landscapes of their lives. These are ‘dreamscapes’ which exist in our memories that we visit when feeling a particular emotion. Exploring the ethereal realms of our minds, portraying a narrative like walking into a mist filled forest, jumping into deep blue ocean, leaping from a cliffs edge. Raw emotions such as pain and beauty, tied to rugged surreal landscapes.
