Archival framing “conservation framing.”

We use the very best picture framing practices and materials (Conservation framing). Non-archival quality framing materials contain acid that can discolor your photos and art. They don’t protect against ultraviolet light, meaning that sunlight, or even fluorescent or phosphorescent light can damage your piece. Finally, they can let in dust and even tiny insects that can ruin your piece.

This is why, when it comes to framing your photos and art, archival framing matters to you.

Canvas

Canvas wrap

We print your photos on Archival quality canvas, glossy, matt or satin. And hand-stretched at the highest standards and attention to detail. The final product is drum-tight with museum grade corners. Canvas wrap edges can be thick up to 4.5cm with options up to 2cm down. Edge color can be white or customized of your choice.

Canvas float

You give us the image and we will print on good quality canvas, then the canvas print is wrapped around a 3mm MDF sheet. A 3/4’’ foam floater block is adhered to the back of the MDF for floating effect with pre-drilled holes for hanging. Available in various sizes from 8”×8” to 20”x20”. Glossy, satin or Matte finish.

Framing Stretched Canvas with L-shape Frame

The L-shape frames are designed with depths range from 2cm to as deep as 5cm to fit and accommodate the width of the stretched painting. The painting float inside the frame directly or on panel to adjust the depth of the painting inside the frame. Frame face is normally 1-2cm to provide substantial contemporary look and also to provide additional strength for larger work.

Stretching Canvas Artwork

We stretch your canvas artwork using high-quality stretcher bars; made from kiln-dried wood, knot-free, finger-jointed straight pine imported from UK. Rounded back edge to reduce surface friction designed to keep the canvas ½” from the stretcher bar. This feature helps prevent ghost impressions on the canvas. The final product is drum-tight with museum grade corners.

Framing Stretched canvas as an object –with glass

Artwork on canvas is normally stretched and framed without glass, but some clients prefers to protect the artwork with glass, in this case we frame the stretched artwork as an object in a shadowbox frame with spacer that can accommodate the stretched canvas, normally not more than three cm

Fabricated using clear top quality acrylic with black or white wooden base. Perfect for showcasing, storing and protecting your precious objects made from a 3-5 millimeter thick, acrylic based on the dimensions of the object which can be customized to your needs

Framing Object With Deep Set – Shadowbox Frame

These frames are deeper than typical frames, allowing you to easily store and display more than just print or photo. Depending on what you want to display, we offer very deep shadow boxes that are perfect for sports memorabilia, buttons, or T- shirt, badges and pins. The shadowbox should be deep enough so that the object isn’t being pushed up against the glass when they are on display.

Acrylic

Face mounted acrylic frame

Acrylic face mounting is certainly one of the most modern ways to present photos and artwork. It is a process that involves applying transparent double sided- adhesive to the face of the print then mounted behind acrylic. A backing material is then adhered to the back of the print to protect the print and provide stability to the art. The backer also provides the surface to adhere the hanging and floating hardware which provides that vibrant, floating off the wall look.

Direct high definition UV-LED acrylic printing

The image is printed directly on acrylic sheet using UV ink as substitution to the traditional inks without compromising the quality of the print. . A backing material is then adhered to the back of the acrylic to protect the print from scratch. The backer also provides the surface to adhere the hanging and floating hardware (sub-frame) which provides that vibrant, floating off the wall look.

Acrylic block with magnets

Magnetic Acrylic Blocks are a versatile and modern way to display your prints. Will print the image you want to display, cut it to size, place it between the blocks and snap them back together. No glue, no mess, no mistakes – and best of all, it can be used time and time again! The Magnetic Acrylic Blocks can also be used as a double-sided frame. Ideal for any home, retail outlet or office environment as a countertop display. Made from the very highest quality clear acrylic with an ultra-smooth polished edging.

Acrylic sandwich with standing bolt

Consists of 2 pieces of clear acrylic sheet placed together with the photo sandwiched in between. With 4 chrome bolts, the lower tow bolts are longer than the upper to allow the frame to slightly tilt back and stand on the table. Usually this has a transparent border.

Wall Mounted Acrylic Display Case / Box

Manufactured from clear high quality acrylic, allow you to display your objects sports, shirt, ball, etc. We manufacture these boxes in 3mm acrylic, 4mm acrylic and 5mm thick acrylic, with beveled edges and options to open from top or back side. The box size is customized to fit your needs. Supplied with white or black back panel to hold your display products firmly, equipped with hanging system, ready to hang.

Acrylic sandwich frame

Consists of 2 pieces of clear acrylic sheets placed together with the photo or poster sandwiched in between. Mounted onto the wall using chrome bolts with spacers. Usually has a transparent border. Classy look with polished bevel edges; Easy to change poster prints.

Framing with customized / personalized Matting

Matt linear of different style, or more than one matt color can be used to make the frame more attractive and luxury.

Double Glass / see-through Frame

This frame allow you to display images that float between two clear sheets of glass for a dramatic effect on a wall or tabletop. This is available for any size up to 60cm x 60 cm

Frame & Glass Repair

Art Central can remove or replace broken glass from your damaged picture frame. Larger or irregular shaped glass such as ovals and semi-circular curves are also replaceable. Non reflective, UV protection and museum grade conservation glass are also available.
